Agog Vivid has expanded its expertise beyond creative effects, supporting specialised training programs for the MOD and advancing its engineering and fabrication capabilities. By leveraging advanced CAD and CAM systems alongside precision plasma cutting and 3- and 5-axis machining, the company has recently advanced into 7-axis machining and additive manufacturing, utilizing both SLS and FDM technologies.

With over 35 years of experience in the realm of special effects, Jason has firmly established himself as a preeminent leader in the industry, having first taken on a supervisory role in the acclaimed film Sexy Beast, released in 2000. His background in industrial design has instilled in him a profound appreciation for detail and structure, equipping him to navigate complex challenges with finesse while providing production teams with innovative and imaginative solutions.
Jason is adept at delivering both breathtaking pyrotechnics and subtle atmospheric effects that seamlessly integrate with their surroundings. His pragmatic approach ensures that projects remain on schedule and aligned with creative visions, regardless of the demands presented by the script or directorial vision.
Embracing opportunities for international collaboration, Jason brings extensive logistical expertise to the provision of effects, working harmoniously with local crews and support teams, all backed by highly skilled technicians trained in the UK. His impressive portfolio spans numerous countries beyond the UK, Isle of Man, and Scotland, including Ireland, France, Corsica, Spain, Germany, and Italy—such as Pantelleria, a volcanic island where resources for rain effects are limited. His international experience also encompasses Greece and various Greek islands, as well as Norway, Sweden, Iceland, Morocco, Tunisia, Mali, South Africa, Madagascar, Hungary, Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Malta, Cyprus, Poland, Lithuania, Romania, Bulgaria, Jordan, Lebanon, Russia, Georgia, India, and further afield in Java and Bali, Indonesia, and China, where he contributed to the award-winning film The Eight Hundred.
