Mist and fog special effects are often described as atmosphere or atmospheric effects and are almost always created by pushing smoke or haze particles into the air.

For Peter Weir’s epic ‘The Way Back’, we developed our MEE system to combine high-pressure water mists with regular atmospheric effects to create something ‘extra’. It was used extensively in the interior mine set.

Using filtered water pressurised to 1000psi, MEE creates a variety of mists and fog special effects by changing the droplet size and it can be used standalone, without the need for other costly products.
